11th annual CEO survey

Influencing the debate

Having an impact

We believe that ideas have to contribute to make a difference. We work with some of the leading organisations in the world and participate in major conferences attended by a diverse audience of business representatives, public figures, policy makers, NGOs and the media. These opportunities enable us not only to contribute to and influence the debate on essential business issues but also to refine and develop our thinking so that it is relevant to and valued by our clients.

We work in partnership with some of the world’s leading organisations; some of our recent and forthcoming activities are shown on this page.

World Economic Forum (WEF): A 20-year relationship with PricewaterhouseCoopers

PwC and the WEF have been strategic partners since the mid-1980s. The relationship focuses on supporting the WEF to achieve its mission, which is to create a global community of business, political, intellectual and other influential leaders of society, all committed to improving the state of the world. As strategic partners, we provide content for WEF summits, participate as panel members in sessions, engage in session debates and help develop programme sessions in areas where we can make a valuable contribution.

The WEF is a not-for-profit, international organisation that serves as platform for discussion, debate and action on key issues of global importance. It works with its 58 strategic partners to shape and deliver programs that make a real difference in the world. Members of the WEF represent many of the world's 1,000 leading companies, along with 200 smaller businesses (many from the developing world), that make a major contribution in their industry or region.
