What do you look for when you hire people?

A positive outlook on life and an open / transparent / approachable demeanor. Asking questions during the interview is absolutely key and shows the candidates interest and eagerness to join.

What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it?

The Inside Job. Until today I’m still fascinated by the lead up to the financial crisis of 2008 and how the various players were so irresponsible. And nothing seems to have changed since!

Of all your achievements so far, what are you most proud of?

My twin boy and girl.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?

Playing with my babies is the funnest and funniest part of my day. Watching their every move when they play is the funniest thing ever.

What characteristics do you think have made you successful?

Hard work, determination, never giving up and, equally important, fear of failure.

Outside the office, how do you spend your time?

Playing tennis, going to the gym and spending time with my family.

If you had a magic lamp that could take you back in the past, or into the future- which would you choose & why?

I’d like to visit ancient civilizations like Ancient Egypt or the Mayan’s in Peru. Fascinating to see how civilization first developed and compared to what we are today.

What’s the best career advice you can offer?

The most important part of any job is that you are continuing to learn and build skills to position yourself for larger roles in the future. The moment you are not learning or you feel you are not setting yourself up for future success, it is time to leave.

What’s your favorite ’90s jam?

Free Fallin’ by Tom Petty.
