Since leaving PwC, you shifted to industry, what made you make that move?

I was presented with a great opportunity which I could not refuse.

How did working with PwC help you achieve your career goals

Working at PwC gave me exposure to a vast array of clients, in diverse industries, which ensured that I gained the necessary experience to be able to make the move to the corporate side.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy tax very much and therefore the exposure to various jurisdictions’ tax legislation and having to assess the impact thereof, is most enjoyable.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?

Spending time anywhere in the world with my wife.

What is the best advice you would give to our fresh graduates?

If you get the opportunity to do or learn something which you have not done before, grab it!

If you were to win a $10 million dollar lottery now, how would you spend it?

I would diversify my investment portfolio and increase the size of my jacuzzi.

What was the last gift you gave someone?

We booked a virtual cooking experience for my brother-in-law so that he could enjoy the taste of Sri Lankan curry in his living room during the current situation.

If you were shipwrecked on a deserted island, and had basic needs like food and water accounted for- what other two things would you want with you?

My wife and our miniature dachshund, Peppy.
